MONDAY: All About Me Poster
A blank poster will be sent home in advance. Your student should be ready to share his/ her poster with the class. Your child can be as creative as he or she wants! Photos, magazine pictures of favorite things, and colorful drawings all make the book exciting to look at. Parents, you may write for your child or help your child do his or her own writing. Tuesday: Favorite Story Student should bring a favorite story book to share with the class. Please help your child select a book that can be read in 10 - 15 minutes. Thursday: Sharing Day Friday afternoon is an excellent time for your child to share a special item, guest, talent, or custom. The amount of time can vary but the sharing usually takes about 15 to 20 minutes. Please let us know if someone is coming in at this time or if other arrangements need to be made. Students enjoy learning about different interests, hobbies, cultures, or occupations. Click on the pictures above for examples and ideas from previous years! |
